Rating: The fuse used in EV and HEV chargers has a specific current rating, measured in amperes (A). The current rating of the fuse should be carefully chosen to match the maximum current capacity of the charger and the vehicle's charging system.

Blow Time: Fuses are designed with a specific blow time characteristic, indicating how quickly they will break the circuit in response to overcurrent situations. The blow time ensures that the fuse reacts promptly to protect the system without being too sensitive to minor current fluctuations during normal operation.

Type of Fuse: Commonly used fuses in EV and HEV chargers are blade-type fuses or cartridge fuses, depending on the design and requirements of the charging system.
